The P2 R filter with a suitable two-filter respirator and face mask protects the respiratory system against non-toxic and medium-toxic water-based aerosols (dust, smoke, mist). This filters do not have a bayonet connector and therefore they should only be used with the 501 cap in combination with the filters.
